I recently stayed at Yha in Napier for a short beach getaway. The hotel is conveniently located next to the beach and just a short walk to the city centre. The rooms and bathrooms were clean and spacious, and the unlimited free WiFi was a bonus. The lounge and kitchen were both spacious and cozy, adding to the overall charm of the place. The staff, especially Joseph, were extremely helpful and welcoming. This older house has been well-kept and has a lot of character, making it a cute and unique place to stay. Good value for money!
100% Recommend this hotel.

Clean and charming hostel with friendly staff. Amazing central location - super close to the beach and CBD. Got to hear the soothing sound of the crashing waves at night. Great value for money. Joseph - one of the staff members - was incredibly helpful and welcoming. Plenty of hooks in the bathroom to hang your things. Lovely outside area to relax in. Our twin room had a beautiful view of both the sunrise and sunset.
Strongly recommend.

We recently stayed at YHA in a private room with a great view, soft bed, and extra blankets. the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. the kitchen area was kept tidy and the location is awesome - right on the beach front, next to the center and some nice cafes. There's also a big supermarket nearby. the wifi was great too.
Nothing to mention.

Great location near the beach and town center. The kitchen was well-equipped and clean with plenty of space to cook meals. The staff was helpful and friendly.
The hostel lacked soundproofing, making the rooms noisy at night. The linen, including the blankets and pillows, had an unpleasant odor and did not feel clean.

We had a great stay at this hotel. The location is perfect as it is just across from the beach and next to the city center. It was easy to walk and find our way around this city. The hotel facilities were great, we enjoyed the sunny terrace out the back and renting the single speed bikes for cheap. The staff were very nice and always had a smile on their faces.
Everything is what we needed and wanted, we couldn't ask for more.

During my new year stay, I found the location of the hostel to be fantastic, offering stunning ocean views and easy access to nearby shops and supermarkets. the shared kitchen was well-equipped and clean, providing enough space for cooking. the staff was friendly and helpful.
The bathroom and toilet facilities definitely need some attention, as there were often long queues to use them. the hostel lacked enough outdoor space, making it difficult to enjoy the beautiful location.
